The 7 Deadliest Venomous Snakes On Earth

Snakes are scary creatures that slither on the ground. As interesting as they are, many are downright dangerous & deadly!

In today’s post we will be going over 7 of the deadliest venomous snakes on planet Earth.

We recommend watching the video version, which can be found HERE.

#1 Rattle Snake

The rattlesnake is the only snake from America on this list. It has a rattle at the end of its tail which provides a warning bell if you’re getting too close.

If you’re bit, the tissue at the bite will be destroyed & organs will degenerate. This causes blood clotting.

Even after treatment, it is likely that there will be a scar left behind. If someone is bit by a rattlesnake & the wound is left untreated, it’s likely they could die or lose the limb.

Not getting the cure in a venomous bite (some bites don’t have venom) almost guarantees death. With the cure, there is a 96% survival rate.

#2 Death Adder

The death adder can be found in Australia & New Guinea. Unlike other snakes, this snake hunts snakes!

This snake has one of the most deadly venom in the world because their venom is neuro-toxic. If you’re bit, you’ll become completely paralyzed within 6 hours. Shortly after your respiratory system will fail and you will die.

Symptoms are not immediately, and the good news is that the cure is highly successful. This means if bit, you have adequate time to receive treatment.

#3 Philippine Cobra

These cobras can spit as far as 3 meters away, making them quite dangerous. Their neurotoxic venom prevents your cardio and respiratory system from functioning properly.

For those bit by one of these top poisonous snakes, the respiratory system will become paralyzed & death will occur within 30 minutes. Symptoms that follow immediately after the bite include vomiting, convulsions, and abdominal pain.

#4 Vipers

Vipers can be found all over the world, but the most venomous vipers are found in Asia, such as India & China.

Their venom causes pain & immediate swelling. Your blood pressure & heart rate will decrease. If you survive, severe pain is experienced for weeks following the attack.

If you don’t take the cure, death comes slowly; it can take as long as 2 weeks!

#5 Tiger Snake

The neurotoxic venom in the tiger snake is quite potent. Found in Australia, death occurs within 30 minutes of a bite from a tiger snake.

70% of people that get bit by this snake will pass away. Pains in the feet, hand, and neck, are the first symptoms. After this breathing becomes difficult, then paralysis occurs.

Thankfully tiger snakes are generally peaceful creatures; they don’t attack unless you intentionally provoke them.

#6 Taipan

Taipan’s are also found in Australia. Their venom is so potent that it can kill over 10,000 guinea pigs!

#7 Blue Krait

The blue krait is one of the deadliest snakes to make this list. It is found in Southeast Asia, as well as Indonesia.

There is an 85% fatality rate of getting bit from a Blue Krait. Even with the cure, there is a 50% fatality rate. The cure only reduces your chances of death slightly!

The good news is that this creature is nocturnal, meaning it is only out during night.
